The collet is used for clamping shaped blanks. It fits directly onto the NES-T 135 clamping sockets and the clamping is caused by elastic deformation when the pin is pulled through the socket. The user can mill a suitable shape directly into the collet. Shape setting is also suitable for automatic production operations, where the clamping and opening of the collet can be controlled pneumatically via the clamping socket.
